We are musicians with a background in film production so we naturally combined the two forms. We create music via video editing and deconstruct music one note - one scene - one melody at a time.

One of our primary inspirations is the 20th century term “Klanfarbenmelodie” which translates to “Sound Color Melody” It is is a musical concept that treats timbre as a melodic element. It can also be used to describe the technique of fragmenting one melodic line between different timbres. In these works, we deconstruct melodies using a variety of traditional instruments in addition to unconventional ones - such as vintage toys and singing saws.
